Fall 2010 Updates

Well it's that time of the year where business is picking up.And there are lots of new developments with Michael Allendorf Photography.

We now offer model consultations at the rate of $75 and business consultations at $150. During which, as a fashion photographer and well rounded team, we will discuss marketing, model portfolio books, and direction of which one should take to be successful. I've had over 3 years of experience in the industry and with that being said, can provide opportunities to clients for networking and more.

Additionally wedding photos will be added to my portfolio following this week, so be sure to clear your cache on your internet browser to ensure updates are being viewed.

"Fashion Houston 2010 will be presented by Audi Oct. 11-15, with runway shows at the Wortham Theater Center Oct. 12-14 bookended by parties and other events.

Project Runway winner Chloe Dao, Cesar Galindo and David Peck (a talented designer who recently moved here from New York) are among the locally based A-listers who will show their spring collections.

Also committed to show, according to Fashion Houston president Jared Lang and organizer Neal Hamil, are Project Runway's Christian Siriano, red carpet favorite Marc Bouwer, the Milan-based luxury menswear label Kiton and Lauren Bush.

Memorial Day: We shall never forget ...

The necessity of armed conflict is often debated, and it should be. But while the necessity of war may be debated, we can’t question the dedication and devotion of those serve — and die — in the name of the United States.

At this time, the week of Memorial Day, we again honor those who have given their lives. And we pray for resolution, restoration and healing in Iraq and Afghanistan and for the safe return of our military personnel there. And furthermore those who continue to serve on our home territories around the world.
